GLOSSARY - SOLIDARITY ECONOMY

Anarcho-communism  began as a branch of collectivist anarchist thought. Anarcho-communism shares common 'roots' with other anarchist movements in its fundamental rejection of the state and most Democratic fundamentals. As a branch of collectivist anarchism, anarcho-communism is profoundly influenced by Marxist thought, and actually accepts the Marxist doctrine of Communism. Like mainstream Marxist communists, anarcho-communists believe in the necessity of a workers' revolution to overthrow capitalism and other democratic institutions. Anarcho-communist have an agenda that advocates for communism, calls for the abolition of private property but retention of personal property and collectively owned items, goods and services. It supports social ownership of property and the distribution of resources by any means necessary,  including violence. Anarcho-communist have an undemocratic agenda that believes that the best way to achieve and maintain anarchy is by  infiltrating local governmental bodies and establishing a Solidarity  Economy in replacement of a Free-Market Economy where Capitalism is the  driving force. Anarcho-communist demonize capitalism and advocate for  the 'dismantling' of that institutions and others that have been considered the fabric of our Democracy. The vision of this agenda would render modern society as Stateless, lawless, classless, without ethical or building codes and without currency where all citizens would operate in existence 'according to their abilities and needs.'
